Once more Davy and I hosted an afternoon of Ashtanga, Hatha, pranayama and meditation at the lovely Unit 4 studio. We were joined by many regulars plus a few new faces. Quite a few students from Janaki’s London classes came and there were many happy reunions.
Davy led a coherent breathing sequence before Dru yoga followed by Ashtanga. Janaki’s session opened with meditation and pranayama following by a hatha flow sequence.
The whole afternoon went very well with lots of laughter and we’ve received some amazing feedback already. A few of us enjoyed a delicious meal (and wine!) at the Roundhill afterwards.
The happy faces in the group photo are a testament to the mood of the afternoon and the feedback below from some of the participants is of course very welcome!
Thank you all who attended and there will be another next Autumn!
Feedback from our students:
I just wanted to send a quick thank-you for another lovely workshop on Saturday. I always forget how good it is to do a four-hour immersion. I enjoy it so much. And the meal afterwards now seems like a natural extension of the yoga experience. A complete nourishment of mind and body. Plus I personally get the extra advantage of being able to breathe some fresh Brighton air.

Fabulous afternoon of yoga as always. I’ve done quite a few of these workshops over the years and I still learn a lot about how I can develop my yoga practice. Davy Jones and Jane Platford create a lovely atmosphere that attracts a great group of people. Really enjoyed the afternoon, topped off by a great evening at The Roundhill.
