The Brighton Yoga Festival is almost upon us – so looking forward to it after all the months of hard work and planning. Janaki and Davy have been centrally involved in the Festival from the first idea through to all the early planning and now the final phases of organisation. It is in the heart of Kemptown at St Georges Church.
The Festival is FREE – yes FREE ! We have raised enough sponsorship money to pay all the (many) bills and expenses of such an ambitious project. So all 38 yoga classes and 28 therapy sessions will be free. We really hope that lots of new people (as well as more experienced yogis) will take this opportunity to try out yoga for the first time. Classes can be booked online or just turn up on the day.
There will be dozens of stalls, some music, talks, performances and the Seven Bees Cafe open all day. There is a free creche available for participants at the yoga classes or therapies.
On the day, there will be collection buckets for two excellent local Kemptown charities – Lifelines and the Brighton Unemployed Centre & Families Project – and a raffle of free yoga classes and yoga clothes that have been donated.
Can you volunteer to help run the event on the day ? If so, please contact: hello@inspirationyoga.net
We will be running a volunteers training session at St Georges Church on the evening of Wed 23 July.
